How do I import my LinkedIn Connections?
Exporting Connections from LinkedIn
You can export a CSV file of your connections from the Contact Settings page on the LinkedIn desktop site.
Note: Only the contact’s full name, email address, current employer, and position are exported.
To export LinkedIn connections:
- Log in to your LinkedIn Account
- Click the My Network icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
- Then click Connections on the left.
- Select Manage synced and imported contacts near the top right of the page.
- Under Advanced actions on the right, click Export contacts. You may be prompted to sign into your account.
- Select Pick and Choose
- Select Connections
- Click Request Archive.
- You will receive an email to your Primary Email address which will include a link where you can download your list of connections.
- If you’re using Internet Explorer and you see a yellow pop-up blocker across the top or bottom of the page: Click the yellow bar to allow popups.
- Select Save As.
- Save the file in your desired location.
- Open File
- Highly and delete Notes Rows at the top the report. 1 & 2
- Column headers should now be listed in Row 1
- Save
- Now go back to Teamzy, and click on Team.
- Click Import, then Import Contacts.
- Select the file you saved from LinkedIn and you are in business!
